cut off BK’s paws before stringing him up and setting him on fire, ultimately killing him

    pleaded no contest

Not surprised, disgusted, but not surprised.

Cruelty to animals is one of the few instances where I’m personally okay with unreasonably harsh punishments. Specifically cases like this. There’s just no reason for it, no benefits, nothing was gained. It’s just cruelty for the sake of cruelty, and anyone who’s capable of doing that can, as far as I’m concerned, rot in prison or burn in hell. Alternately just treat them exactly like they treated the animals.

Yep. Just give them what they gave to BK.

The trick is not seeing another living creature as having meaningful emotions or pain. Like you said, you need to be a psychopath.

Who could have imagined the guy who defends the continued murder of schoolchildren being a sadistic psychopath? It’s always the ones you most suspect.

No wonder he doesn’t want background checks. Someone should check his burn barrel for bones.

Cruelty to animals is by now pretty much a job requirement on the right, is it not?

Remember all those stories rich white people used to tell about the dangers of “gang initiation rites”? I guess that was a confession too

I’m sure he stopped torturing things now that he has access to all those weapons and all that money.

For some reason I read this headline as “NPR chief” and it was legitimately shocking to me that NPR would be run by someone so actively sadistic.

It being the leader of the NRA is much less shocking.
