I was just writing about Billionaire Brawl elsewhere. Glad to see more people thinking about this sort of concept.

The creator didn’t have a good answer, so there may not be a good one for this project. But the value proposition is actually there.

These self-hosted solutions are riddled with configuration options, often obscure requirements, and countless maintenance pitfalls.

For a disciplined tech person, it is no problem to install and maintain.

For people less disciplined or non-tech, self hosting is ill-advised and can be dangerous.

But even for a tech person, when you have enough docker-compose services laying around, it can start to get a bit overwhelming to keep it all up to date, online, and functional. If you change your router etc you have to recall how things were set up, what port-forwards you need, what reverse lookups, etc etc.

There actually is a gap in usability and configuration management. I could see a product that has sensible defaults that unifies config across these self-hosted services without needing to access the command line.

We need a cap per owner. When you have multiple owners, the cap sums between them. Owners share equal rights.

So take a megacorp, like Google. They would be essentially need to make every employee an owner plus hire thousands of new “owner employees” to maintain their profit margin. Those profits get divided equally among owners, and the owners decide the direction of the company.

This pattern is also future proof against AI.

This reminds me of the spike in cellular biophoton emissions during mitosis.

Biophoton emissions, basically a faint glow of light emitted by living cells due to metabolic processes, increase sharply at the moment a cell replicates into two cells. It appears as a flash if observing these emissions.

There is a lot to learn about our ideal society by observing our biological processes. The human body is a good example of a functioning mass-scale social substrate. The representative sample that guides the body is billions of neurons. Considering a human body has around 37 trillion cells, and roughly 170 billion brain cells (86 billion neurons + 85 billion non-neural brain cells), that gives us around a 200:1 representative sample. For every 200 cells, there is 1 representative.

Fascinating, isn’t it? Dunbar’s number states humans can only keep track of a limited number of relationships. That number is a cognitive limit of around 150 stable relationships that we can keep track of. The limit’s range has been stretched to 100 - 250 stable relationships.

In other words…the ratio of brain cells to other cells is nearly the same as Dunbar’s number. It is reasonable to conclude, then, for a functioning society (because human bodies are far more functional than our planetary society), we need to have a ratio limit on representation. That limit is 200:1. For every 200 people, we need 1 representative.

For the US, for example, with 347 million people, a stable government would need 1.7 million representatives. Sounds crazy, doesn’t it, compared to the ass backwards mechanism at play now? But think about it for a bit, and you will find why it is so stable.

That is too many people for an elite to control. It is too many to be corrupted. It adds redundancy. It adds direct accountability, each rep would have a personal relationship with their people, because it is within the Dunbar limit of what they can keep track of.

I never said we shouldn’t make any errors. That’s ridiculous. I said we shouldn’t make such foolish errors.

For example, we shouldn’t dump radioactive material into water. See? It’s a foolish error you can’t reverse. Are you getting it yet?

Here is another. We shouldn’t dumb radioactive smog from burning coal into the air. Can’t reverse that, either. Oops…we are already doing that? Oopsie, maybe some higher authority will come reverse it for us?

There are countless high-stakes operations that cannot be reversed for good reasons. I believe that money transfers is one of those things, because the alternative is batshit crazy authoritarian surveillance and control.

Anyway, you’re blocked, I don’t have much energy to spare for people lacking basic rational thought. I reserve that energy for feeding birds, petting dogs, water plants, and other such things. They say less, but make so much more sense than you, and have a better vibe. Enjoy your day!

I don’t want some central authority orbiting over my finances capable of reversing something because of “error”. The ability to reverse a transaction means complete surveillance, control, and submission to an authority figure. No thanks.

I would rather be in a society that doesn’t make such foolish errors to begin with, and takes responsibility when they make a mistake. Measure twice, cut once.

Crypto solves it by providing an auditable public ledger following mathematical rules agreed upon by all parties utilizing it. It has a predictable and transparent minting process and transactions are uncensored. Transfers are predictable and rapid. You can see exactly what’s happening when you transfer. It doesn’t stamp generated ids on people, instead the people report their identity to the network.

It doesn’t care how people acquire, so yes, people can use fake centralized money to buy real money if there are sellers willing to do that.

There are many more benefits, but the point is, yes, it solves an enormous number of serious problems, many of which you definitely haven’t considered.

Cryptocurrencies are about the only tech right now that gives the common people a fighting chance. Never in history has there been a real competitor to bankers and their monopoly on value.

I hope more people invest their life savings. If they can hold for 5 years, they will be wealthy.

It isn’t a witch hunt. He is a known child sex trafficker the and statistics are clear. The minuscule number of people exposed to him vs the size of the greater population isn’t even a blip on the radar. These sorts of sex traffickers are experts at covering their tracks, so a wide net around the super tiny population exposed to this creep is not only sensible, it is really the only way forward to safeguard the future.

I never rode on his plane. Have you? There are over 300 million Americans, what percentage of them rode on his plane?

Seems to me that it would be absolutely no loss to anyone if ALL who rode on his plane, have ANY association with him, or are otherwise connected with him, are barred for life from ever holding any political office or authority.

In addition, anyone in the same group is added to a list similar to the sex-offenders list, but it is simply the “Epstein list.” Not to be confused with the actual list. This new list just requires even a picture with him to be added to it.

Even the slightest scent of foul play with underage people would trigger a massive response. When on the list, you aren’t allowed near anywhere where children are. You cannot have any business associations involving children. This along with other sensible cautions for possible child rapists.

The thing is, the rich and powerful should be under MORE scrutiny. Right now they have more rights than a common person. But authority should come with less rights and more responsibility. I would say not associating with a know child trafficker is a pretty low bar, and there are countless rich people who haven’t done that.

The rest of us are burned on a daily basis for significantly less.

Let me spell it out for you.

There is no fixing that system. It is broken beyond repair. It is a gordian knot, and it requires the same solution.

You are in this situation. I am not. If I were not able to opt out of voting, I would choose death over submission.

People need to understand what a “no-vote” is. Give me liberty or give me death. We are not playing this small, rigged game.

Humanity is in the age of becoming a multiplanetary civilization, and yet we squabble over petty differences and cater to the lowest common denominators.

We have the stars within our grasp and yet most of us clutch towards dramas played out repeatedly for centuries.

I don’t want mere healthcare. I want complete unconditional care for every being alive and to ever live in the future. I want to choose the planet I live on based upon my gravitational preferences. I want my intentions and desires to be read near perfectly and frictionlessly satisfied to the maximum possible. I want equal share in cosmic computational capabilities to be operated as a sovereign extension of my mind.

And I want every other being to receive the same according to the magnitude of their consciousness. This includes plants, animals, and beings we have yet to encounter.

Where you see two choices within a political axiom that has total control over the outcomes within your life and the lives of your community, I see only one. The “choices” are simply ritualistic motions of compliance with decisions the ruling class has already made. I engage with that system only at the minimum required in order to maintain material and bodily sovereignty. Voting in an unauditable and openly rigged system, especially after seeing the DNC is rigged, is nothing but an instrument of mass control.

I create a second choice by not participating. Opting out is a non-destructive, peaceful way to withdraw consent and focus energy on alternatives. Every human being can create these sorts of options. That is how government was originally created. All better systems begin with rejecting the smaller visions.

No one chose to be born into this world. No one should be forced to play human-created nonsense games.

Keep being mad and feeding these machines.
