A lot of them have bought into prosperity gospel where your bak account is the measure of your faith in god.

I forget which republican it was in the 80s that tried raising the alarm about courting the religious right. The essence of what they said was that you couldn’t negotiate or compromise with someone who thinks they have god on their side.

Groceries is such a weird word but I hear people are using it again.

They’re calling it mar-a-lago face.

They’re also working on figuring out a way to get us to pay some exorbitant price for the Bread part.

That’s where bankrupting farmers comes in. They bankrupt smaller farms and buy up the land. Billionaires have been buying arable land all over the place for a while now and then there’s also the agribusiness conglomerates gobbling up farms and land wherever they can.

They’ve commodified every aspect of survival so now their only options are to squeeze and concenrrate. Fitting that there’s an orange at the helm.

Thanks for the story. I played football in highschool but the adoption and amplification of jingoist bullshit in the 90s removed any interest I had in it.
