Right after Trump got ordered to remove the troops and ostensibly agreed to do so. Seems suspicious.

I have yet to see a photo of this woman that doesn’t look like she’s asking for a manager.

I’m getting tired of saying this: no the fuck they aren’t. Trump’s approval rating is at 41% today, which is higher than it was a couple weeks ago.

Can’t wait to see how the Democrats either fuck this up entirely or just fail to do anything productive with the gains.

Off the top of my head, probably. States have general police powers to govern themselves, to the extent not overridden by federal powers. But those kinds of discussions are a relic of a time when we at least pretended the federal government followed the law.

They obviously won’t… All the American media outlets are being consolidated under right wing ownership. To the extent we ever had fair reporting, that’s over.

It is illegal. So are monopolies. Laws are only as meaningful as they are enforced.

That should be grounds for discipline, but IME, you have to piss off a disciplinary board personally to ever see consequences for attorney misconduct.

What the hell are you taking about? They got a promise of a promise from well-established liars (i.e. nothing), and undid a little of the damage incurred to get that worthless promise. There’s no interpretation of this where Dems came out ahead. We’d have been better off if they chickened out from the start.

Last time Schumer caved because he didn’t want to inflict shutdown pain on Americans, so he said. This time he did exactly that, then also caved. Motherfucker.

Seriously. Like a week after the election, keyboard warriors were out in force crowing about the big upcoming fight against tyranny. Like, homie. That was last week. All you had to do was mail a piece of paper, and too many of you couldn’t be bothered.
