While I understand your concern because I knew someone who was like that personally, that person’s ability and desire to constantly respond caused them a significant bit of distress, often replying to people with something like, “please stop replying because I feel compelled to say something in response.”

Looks like something in your config is wrong, because ghcr.io/v2/ is not a public address. GHCR is a container registry, so your app shouldn’t be trying to pull directly from /v2/. It should be ghcr.io/home-assistant or similar.

Just based on the house price to rent ratio (the ratio of house prices to the annual cost of rent), NYC is about 38. Here is an infographic of the house price to rent ratio of various Canadian cities:

As you can see, the cost of housing in NYC is comparable to Toronto and Victoria. Our mortgages don’t have fixed rates though, so every 5 years your mortgage rate goes up (theoretically it could go down, but it generally doesn’t). It makes buying a house a lot more risky even if you can afford it.

Yeah! It lets me focus on content instead of building the actual site so I thought I would suggest it given OP’s use case.

Also the CSS can be modified with a separate file that overrides the default, so it’s pretty customizable without touching the actual config files at all.

Have you considered a wiki instead? I use OtterWiki and I like it a lot. It has version control using Git too.

There are several dozen different wiki softwares out there, you can compare their features using this site.

Can you explain your opinion of the differences? A friend and I are interested in learning more about Discord alternatives that we can get our less tech-savvy friends to switch to.
