83·2 years agoOh my fucking god, the comments in here are so bad. Nobody is saying “both sides bad”. This is not a centrist meme. This is a case of observing that Republicans are far-right fascists and Democrats are center-right conservatives.
This is not a point of “both sides are the same”, it’s a point of “both are on the same side” (with said side being the political right)
Conservative =/= Republican. Some of the perceptions in the US are skewed so far to the right that you don’t even realise how conservative the Democratic Party is. In a lot of other countries in the world, there are like 3-4 major parties left of where Obama stood, but only like 1, maybe 2, right of him.
