I hear this all the time but how are they currently doing this? What are some examples?
I’m trying to selfhost some Lemmy communities just for fun :)
Buddhist, researcher, FOSS, Linux, selfhosting enthusiast, plantbased, anarchism and MLM interested.
Trying to be nice. I really dislike the Reddit style aggressive comments. If you are rude I will block and ban you.

142·1 year agoMy clear point was a revolution is one thing but running the country so well ever since is their real success story :)
Yes, that’s literally what I responded to. Governance is their real success story is my obvious point

1311·1 year agoWhy are you arguing that their military movement is what made them successful? Vietnam is successful from their governance not because many died.

Anti-Theism is a cult that believes all of the world’s problems can be accurately blamed on the existence of specifically Abrahamic religions. (Seriously where are all the Angry Ex-Buddhists saying “It’s all bullshit!”. Reminds me I read the article on Buddhism on Rational Wiki… I don’t know if they updated it but they basically said it was atheism with extra steps which is… revisionist at worst and an over simplification at best)
I think this tracks very well. Thanks for writing it out. That also brings out the term a-theism is anti-god not anti-religion. They hate Christianity therefore they project onto all religions as harmful which is simply nonsense. As a scholar of religion it is impossible to deal with these people.
It pretends to be the position of having no religion. A deception.
I know plenty of REAL Atheists. You know what they have to say about God? Not a damn thing because it’s not actually relevant to them.
Sorry Edgelords but it’s not 2002 anymore where calling God a delusion is your fast pass to cool.
And no I’m not Christian but I’ve had the accusation thrown my way. For the record I’m agnostic with a Buddhist leaning.
This is how the majority of online atheists come off honestly.
Lmao post this in dad jokes please
Fair, it is high effort
Thank you! That means a lot since some were mean.
I very much find that true as well. Thanks for backing me up pal :)
I fully agree but this is clearly a play on a passage from the Bible so I understood it as I described
Don’t mean to make it more than anything. Just thought someone going to the trouble making this is cringey. Not an attack on you!
Edit: You’re right. I’m sorry for making you feel bad.
Found the rude atheist
I got to say this is pretty cringe. A good mix of millennial and militant atheist humor. Spending that much time making that needlepoint is serious commitment haha
Edit: I apologize that my comment comes across as rude to OP. I was debating commenting it and thought my comment was more on the type of humor but I don’t want to make anyone feel bad.
Not a fan of militant(!) atheists but I also shouldn’t be rude.

This is hilarious. Thanks for the laugh. I can’t imagine how scary a lion flying from the sky would be
This is pretty funny, I like the meta cartoon in the bottom right!
Ai is slop. I see its use in helping you think through things like code and questioning but holy crap can it not produce anything worth while on its own.
