Your Honor, may I approach the bench and slam my three fingers of Cutty

Maybe he’s also planning on hiding the results too. Some newspaper who didn’t get the message that The Numbers Are Perfect Now prints a headline like “All factories in town closed, all employees laid off!”
Suddenly everybody who works there is deported. The town cries out “THEY WERE BORN HERE SIXTY YEARS AGO, FOR FUCKS SAKE” and the camera zooms in on Stephen Miller touching his fingertips to his lips and making a kissyface “oops” before Hammertime dancing and howling “and go get them too”

My dad (RIP) became nuts over civil war statues. I don’t remember him ever saying anything hot/cold fora long time one way or another about the Confederacy even though we lived near Shiloh Military Park. We talked about Civil War kind of stuff normally for years, but then all of a sudden he was 100% white hot on Civil War statues and would not entertain anything but total agreement. He would slam the phone down on me and then call right back to chew me out if I didn’t instantly and fully agree with what he was saying about they are part of our history and should be protected. He’d park in front of the county courthouse to make sure that nothing happened to the statue there. I felt like he was acting the same way that I did when I was a dumb idiot and getting mad about all the wrong things.

Thanks for sharing this. I have been using Authelia to provide forward auth in a Traefik cluster and have not ever really gotten OIDC to work yet. It’s kind of just a little hobby project but I’d like to know how to do it.

It’s like the joke:
Let’s see him wiggle out of this! [he wiggles out of it effortlessly] Ah. Well, nevertheless!

Big if true

Never admitting you’re wrong when you’re obviously wrong and then getting away with it is a power grab.

Yup. Any headline like this just means that the Supreme Court hasn’t had the opportunity to overturn the decision for him.

That’s what you call a rhetorical question, right? The kind that you already know the answer to?

Had this conversation with my stepmom. She is complaining that peaches cost $1 each. She thinks this is too expensive and that the cost will go down now. I’m quietly kind of amazed that she thinks that she’ll even find a peach that didn’t rot on the ground for less than $10 or whatever they will cost once the labor goes up. I didn’t say anything to her about it because it just doesn’t matter anymore. It is pointless even to converse about any topic. We experience separate realities. She believes happy days are finally here, and I just don’t care if she sees another peach ever again in her lifetime. Whatever happens to the peaches is her fault.

They’ll fall in line pretty soon.
