I’m appalled to see it compared to some shitty MS product (that I have no knowledge of), and I’ll just add that I have never encountered our hard of this bonkers “previous page is still active” issue in HyperCard - but I readily believe it’s there in 365.
Aside from the meme, what is the story about this photo? Is it the last photo of the family home before they evacuate? Then why is she smiling? What is going on?

I’ve read most of folklore.org and do not recall any such story. In fact, how do you even “drag the computer to the waste basket” as the first/only icon would be the System floppy and afaik they’ve never had / still don’t have a “computer icon”. 🤔
I haven’t really dived into anime mostly for lack of time. But the way you put it reminds me of the way the Worm universe is everything except black and white.
