This doesn’t fix the electoral college or the state electors corruption. It just changes how they’re gonna ignore peoples vote for the popular vote anyway.

Maybe he should release the originals?

That doesn’t solve campaign finance laws or any of the other issues stemming from Citizens United.
Politicians have not represented their voters for a long time they represent their wealthy donors. Changing the mechanism for how we vote won’t change enough.

I hate this timeline. I still can’t believe that a fake tv doctor has anything to do with healthcare administration.

It’s more about the electoral college and who is the elector for the state unfortunately. Which is why a trump is trying to make sure his people are in those positions.

Isn’t there this type of plan already? Isn’t this an HSA?

No logic and the attention span of a goldfish.

Surprised it took so long.

He’s a gyro.

None of this matters, unless it leads to some sort of consequences. Which they have shown that they are basically immune since they own the courts.

Don’t worry, the Democratic establishment will figure out a way to quickly fuck this up before the midterm elections.
I’m sure they will choose a panel of milquetoast corporate centrist neo-liberal fuck wads for the people to choose from and again blame it on voter apathy. add a little corporate campaign, finance rule, bending to funnel the most amount of money towards their desired candidate and you have the classic recipe for “ Why do Democrats always lose elections?”

So she is converting to Scientology? Cause that basically the same thing. Evil space alien are in your body and you need to pay lots of money to the church to exorcise them from your soul and body.

DNC leadership still hasn’t learned anything from the last several elections. They still want to push voters towards their “chosen” and favored candidates. Too bad the voters want something other than corporate center right establishment shills.

Early on in the industrial age. Not so much anymore.

The America-stan dream. Every state to be truly independent and fend for themselves with no federal government oversight.
Those states will fall apart everywhere except where the ownership class lives. Infrastructure that is not company owned will fail along with education and healthcare and any social services.
Bring back the company towns and factories! The good old days where children can work in factories and mines!

You forgot Musk.

Harris was and is still a terrible candidate. No one likes her, And no one is going to vote for a former attorney general and lawyer from California. Not a chance.
Newsom is great for California, but most of the country doesn’t like California’s politics so he’s a hard sell even without his corporate background.
I really wish the Democratic Party would stop telegraphing their already decided candidates that you will be allowed to vote for. This is why Kamala Harris lost, why people didn’t like Biden, and this is why people didn’t like Hillary.
The DNC leadership hasn’t given the people a true primary with viable likable candidates for well over 20 years. None of the candidates had any good policies that resonated with people, they’re just milquetoast corporate centrists who want to keep everything the same and not address any of the problems that people actually face.
Obama was just a fluke that they eventually manipulated into compliance.

CorruptionTM. Now with fewer steps!
I agree. I am for RCV, but pretending that it is a solution to the broader problem is delusional.
The issue surrounding voting are well known: everything from IDs and voter registration, local polling stations, gerrymandering districts, voting during the week, purging voter roles, vote by mail, digital voting machine security, lack of paper trail etc. Not to mention campaign finance laws and citizens united and corruption.
None of that is addressed by switching to RCV.
