Good projects will have docs associated with the docker/docker compose files.

The way we do it is, any update to the .yaml files will have a corresponding .yaml.Dev associated with it. That way it won’t be overwritten when an update occurs as well as give a recommended setup.

Mostly at work. All our stuff was on Azure, so when it went down…I kinda just stood around for the day. It was up/down the entire day. So I went for a coffee lol.

Cache-ing is a hard problem to solve. For MANY years cloudflare was the cheapest and easiest way to solve the issue.

But the same people that started cloudflare have moved on or passed away. Now its just another corp. So yeah we are going to get downtime. In the corporate world, its the standard so no one is going to move off it.

…unless it keeps going down consistently.

For those who are in the know, does memcache work with lemmy/piefed? What is a good Cache for modern day systems?

1. AWS was massively down
2. Azure was down a week later
3. Cloudflare down multiple times this year

Heh I would play it as the player is now PART of the hoard and is now the DRAGONS personal pet. The player was too persuasive lol.

I’ve broken my Lemmy system a couple of times. Yunohost and Lemmy do not go well together. Went to docker and its slow but dependable. I like playing around with it but how do people keep up with Lemmy.world? It just slams my network.

In addition to what others say, you can also try WebToEpub (with a delay) for some comics. It works well with web comics.

freshrss is also great at ongoing series.

For me yunohost is the simplest.

I play dragons like “vainqueur the dragon” aka very full of themselves and won’t actually listen to anything the players say. Its hilarious because its made to frustrate the players as much as possible. Getting a dragon to do anything is a monumental task.

Its the entire request. Its definitely not the software, that takes > 20 ms if its direct connected via Ethernet usbc. You are entirely correct, it can be much faster like my other services are.

Its wifi 2.4 across multiple walls. Im frankly surprised its only 200+ ms delay with the amount of signals in the area.
