He’s not insane, he’s evil.

This isn’t bullying. This is corruption/bribery.

Have you seen how close Russia is to Japan?
She should have done all of that, but they would have just found a different wedge issue.
Doesn’t matter - their technique will always find the greatest wedge issue because they start by spreading insane amounts of shit and use monitoring to find which ones are gaining traction. All this is a guess, but it’s such an obvious strategy that I’d be amazed if it wasn’t how they’re working.
I’m from the U.K., so I was lucky enough to experience what I believe was a PoC of this technique during our referendum for PR voting. That time, there were two wedge issues: baby incubators and - I hope I’m getting this right because my memory is hazy - bullet-proof vests for soldiers. Neither of those things were remotely related to the question… but as soon as they started to gain traction, they were pushed hard. Brexit was more money for the NHS. With Jeremy Corbin, it was support for Palestine. With Kamela, it was lack of support of Palestine. None of it needs to make sense, so long as it works as a wedge.
I still believe this was a targeted campaign to get dems to sit out. Their strategy is to spread as much shit as possible, and as soon as they see something that sticks, push it hard. It’s sad, but this strategy is extremely effective against the left because we’re all too eager to find a reason not to support the dems.
The only defence is to be aware of this strategy. Rather than shit on people, try to explain how they’ve been duped so next time they have a chance of noticing.
Why would such a feature need facial recognition? Just use the ID on the travel pass and done - cheaper, faster, and harder to fake if done properly.

Yeah, but at least we saved Gazza.

Even a country formed by survivors of the last round is engaging in genocide.

The electorate swung solidly right, giving Trump the popular vote. Much as I’d like a more left-wing administration in the US, the evidence does not support the theory that a left leaning campaign would have helped. The US apparently wants an authoritarian government, and it got it.
This is not just the US either - globally we are shifting rapidly to authoritarian regimes. In my own UK where the center left (at best) Labour won the election, but only because the right wing parties were split by FPTP. The Tories elected a far right leader last week and got derided for it, but for them, it’s absolutely the right move, and the next election will likely deliver a far right Tory or Tory/Reform coalition. For reference, Labour got less votes than the previous election that they lost in a land slide.
Same where I currently live, Germany, and my fiancé’s France.
Dark times are ahead. Prepare for the worst.
Your campaign against Harris only helped Trump. I’m not sure what is hard to understand here. I hope you keep safe, but this is an outcome you literally fought for.

My crazy theory: if he wins and then gets sent to jail, the republicans won’t rescue him. Why? Well, he was useful to win the election, but he’s got no idea how to run a country, far less of an idea how to implement Project 2025. Vance, on the other hand, seems competent enough to actually deliver…

Do not sit ANY election out, even the local ones. The far right have been building a network of corrupt judges and politicians at the local level with the goal to implement project 2025. No matter what happens this election, they are still absolutely set on that goal and will not stop.
A general strike might be a good start. And there’s always that 2nd amendment.
