  • Compared to the rest they were doing a decent job in many respects but it seems to me like they just gave up and surrendered any sort of journalistic Integrity just this last week. I understand they might have to bring out a pro-israel person, but not one pushing through such blatant fall cities with the interviewer nodding along and agreeing with everything they say. I got to find the name of that interviewer so I can let other people know how much of a piece of shit he is.

  • Pbs has gotten bad lately. One of their correspondents just endorsed the lie about command and control from gazan hospitals, he saw it first hand. Then they allow some Unapologetic is real hack to come on and lie about what they are doing with no pushback. Then stuff like this. I do not know if I can even watch them anymore if they are going to just give up and run with the party line.

  • The kind of ignores the fact that government behind the scenes leans on social media to ban users they do not like as was seen with the Homeland Security Department. They got cause from the far right and then predictably used it more against the left.

Or with israel, you won’t get banned for what you are getting banned for, they find some other pretext and because we have a zero rights online they don’t have to find something that is actually against their rules to ban you.

Social media is a public utility and needs to be regulated as such. It should be still at the state level as the feds will not do it in any good way. We should have a right to Fair enforcement of the rules, to know the decisions that went to into taking enforcement actions, and being able to appeal to a jury of our peers or whatever.

  • A slate of true populists, a charismatic leader, and populists that fit their districts cooperating and what they agree on like the rich not fucking working people without their consent, would be wildly successful. It would rule for four to six presidential terms.

Obviously we are not going to get that but I feel like I have to try. Apparently we have to let this dumpster fire burn out, and take the Democratic establishment with it, before we can change anything because people still Trust them to run the opposition.

The president is popular because he looks like he is fighting. He is the only one that looks like he is fighting. Directing the justifiable anger of the voters albeit to the wrong sources. Which is why the rest of us hate him. Directing that anger to the right sources would be massively popular as FDR was.

  • I am not trying to be a dick either, but the same people are still in control of the opposition and fighting under them is doomed to fail. There might be a finality to elections now, we are now facing a pretty aggressive rigging. But since there is a succession battle we could still take it back with a muscular popular reform Party. I just do not want to see America get settled with a kakistocracy, rule of the worst, fixing elections.

Plus bringing the military into domestic affairs, which always ends the same way, the military sees the weakness of the political leaders and the levers of power and they subordinate the politicians and become the true rulers. Honestly the military would be an improvement over these malicious fucking clowns in politics, It could last decades.

When all we need is a new deal to usher in more prosperity for everybody, the grasping Rich included. They have no idea what they are supporting, the monster they’re supporting will destroy them which is the only silver lining here.
