Guess I should have said, it’s not democratic it’s Republican. And the question being what should legislature represent. I’m curious how the EU works as a governing body, is there proportional representation? Or does each county get an equal vote. Sorry for my ignorance.

It’s not democratic from a person level, but it is more democratic from a state level. At the time they hadn’t quite figured out if they wanted to be a country or a collection of states that sometimes work together.

I use Plex and jellyfin, honestly, plex only stays around because of plexamp. It’s just too good. I don’t like using streaming apps like Spotify or whatever because they’re not as good

I genuinely care about these people. I’m playing with game theory here tho. I vote for trump, the bombing will continue. I vote Dem, the bombing may slow down. I vote third party, isn’t necessarily a vote for trump, but it makes him winning more likely.

I also have to care about more than just the people overseas. A vote for trump affects more than just our foreign policy. My many female friends and their human rights. My coworkers and their workers rights. I don’t know what Trump’s plans for welfare are, but I’m sure there shit.

If you’re assuming that I’m not thinking about all the facets of life that this election touches, then you’re seriously out of touch. I want the world to be a better place, I genuinely do. I think most of the people here do. But I’m not a single issue voter. There’s a lot that this election means to a lot of people. I don’t have the answers, I’m just a cog. I’ll do the best I can, any more than that and you’re barking up the wrong tree
