People don’t vote, including leftists. Not voting isn’t going to make politicians shift left, either way.

Only 73% of the voting aged population is registered. Only 65% of the voting population voted. I’m not sure what the ideological breakdown of non voters is, but I’m positive leftists are in there.

however it’s bullshit to blame leftists for democrats consistently failing their voter base.
Agreed, but they can still be blamed for not physically going to vote.

Do those giant piles go to the voting booths, or are they pinky promising to do so when the general election comes around, next time?

Unfortunately I think it’s more a matter of not getting worse faster. Downward trajectory hard to change within the time period they had. We did get the ACA under Obama, even though the Republicans gutted it. Better than what it was. Still bad. But they’re not the party making it as bad, comparatively.

That’s a valid point, but
we’re not voting republican we’re voting Democrat right?
Many people are abstaining instead of voting for either party or a write in.
I don’t like the idea of a 3rd party president without 3rd party representation in the senate/house/local government positions first, but I’d prefer that people vote 3rd party over not voting at all because they don’t like the 2 party system.

I was making the joke about interpreting the line as if it were a mathematical equation. “x=100%” “solve for x” “x would be 100%” lol just playing around

Minimum wage isn’t the only part of the economy. Raising the minimum wage would help, but lowering the cost of living (rent/mortgage/etc) would be better. Look at the econ data to see how the dems worked to try and stop the economy from becoming more unstable whjen they were in power. Republicans have historically done a much worse job at this, with the dems coming in to clean up their mess. Not saying either party is good, but the pattern is straightforward.

x = 100%, solve for X.
100%? Is that the answer?

You don’t think the last few Dem presidents helped move the economy in the right direction?

If the Democrat Party continues the way it has, they will look exactly like the current Republican party in the next decade.
If they see that the majority of the voting population is voting for Republicans, it make sense that Democrats will adopt more Republican-leaning policies. They don’t care about serial non voters. They care about swing voters and their voting base.
It’s magical thinking to assume otherwise. People who don’t want either party are too lazy to organize even a protest vote write-in name.

You’re giving lots of examples of things that Democrats didn’t start, but chose to continue. Which party started those things?

Because Holocaust Harris and Wehrmacht Waltz were going to save your ass?
If they were that bad, what did it make their opposition by comparison?
Stop. This. Dickriding.
It’s not dickriding to understand that Trump was objectively a more unsafe choice for president that would do more damage to the categories of people you mentioned in your post.
Protest voters chose hard mode (maybe because they thought it would wake up the Dems? The voting base? Idk but it’s clearly not) and now we’re living with it.
And pick up a fucking gun
Is this the fed posting I’ve heard so much about? Look at all the other countries that have a majority of their population living in horrible conditions, and tell us this can’t ever happen here.

One of my conservative friends (also a woman) said the same thing: women shouldn’t be in power. Stunlocked me for a second.

I’m a killjoy: I doubt that this article is accurate, or if it even matters. I think articles like this exist to placate. I wouldn’t trust anything that a “senior administration official” tells Rolling Stone.

Where can I find these stickers?
I thought he wasn’t allowed to delete posts? Maybe only certain types of posts?
