  • It’s still trivial, assuming the three guards guard three doors: just ask each guard: “Would the guard that always lies say this door is safe?” The random guard will give a random answer while the other two give the inverted answer. Even better if don’t ask the random guard first, then you can repeat the question about the other doors to the same guard and only need two questions

I wouldn’t say it’s bad for democracy. If anything, it reveals how damaged democracy already is in the US. At face value this isn’t any worse than students being murdered in school shootings or (democrat) politicians being murdered. Don’t get me wrong, that’s all terrible but reacting only to this event reveals that the MAGAs were only waiting for any excuse to do whatever they’re going to do now.

I can only recommend against buying Xiaomi phones because they are shitty by design. My parents have Xiaomi phones and there are ads everywhere, including in the standard system apps.

For example: The vanilla files app is hidden and you can only use it if you know what you’re doing and dig it up. Instead you have Xiaomi’s file manager app that not only lacks many features, but has the audacity to be infested with apps. When you start the app, you will get a full screen ad and can only continue to the proper app after a few seconds and even then there are banner ads still.

If you install apps manually from apks, some Xiaomi app scanner launches to scan the apk. I doubt the scanner is effective or does anything useful, but it’s yet another opportunity to show full screen ads.
