firefox has google safe browser api protection; librewolf disables it by default under librewolf settings.

this is why you disable google “safe browsing” in librewolf and use badblock instead

fyi; stupidly i enabled auto updates in my mint update (i have jellyfin installed locally) and forgot to exclude jellyfin from this so it auto updated overnight but there were no major issues thankfully! just had to restart and let the migration process run.

always exclude jellyfin from autoupdates ppl don’t be dumb like me :)

i only use it for my family so like just me, my brother, and my parents so i just spun up a subdomain and configured apache to reverse proxy and use certbot for a lets encrypt certificate so i’m not exposing my port or ip. (the subdomain is just hosted on an ec2 server that i was using anyway)
