Oh there’s a lot of parts for American 80s cars around. And their crude enough you can fab most things to work fine or just get aftermarket if you need to.

Can’t we have affordable repairable cars AND reliable public transport? That would sure be nice.

Thats why I will argue old cars were undeniably better. You could actually repair them and they weren’t rolling spyware with a subscription.

1990 to about 2014 is the perfect spot for cars. Before that is archaic for most people (i prefer 80s cars myself) and newer than that its just a corpo bot on wheels.

I have yet to mess with docker but see it talked about non stop. What is the benefit ? Is it like flatpak where it sandboxes everything?

Im sorry youre getting down voted, because youre right. Sorry to be a downer but I interact with real people (unlike i presume a lot of lemmings), and a LOT of them do not like her, for reasons spread by propaganda news all over the place. They know nothing other than she’s a woman and will take yer guns, so she will never win.

I do use duplicati for my desktop and its great.

This is more and issue of having matching, linux, and 1 windows (soon to be linux) pc. So mixing and matching is hard. I have 1 nas for movies and music and my other nas is for music production backup. That one auto backs up from my Mac.

So then, every few months I copy that nas onto another drive and put it in the safe. I guess I want a better way to do that other than plugging the drive into the nas and manually copying everytbing over.
