"In 2023, the US Supreme Court declared, contrary to established science and object permanence, that water ceases to exist when it goes underground and is therefore no longer subject to meddlesome environmental protections. Frothing lefties like Justice Brett Kavanaugh warned the decision was a recipe for widespread pollution. This week, President Donald Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency agreed … with the Supreme Court.
The EPA’s announcement on Wednesday that it would find the narrowest possible definition of the word “water” for regulatory purposes was just one of dozens of ways it plans to attack environmental protections during Trump’s second term in office. Supposedly meant to spark some sort of “Great American Comeback,” these actions would mainly bring back an era of poisoned skies and waters while hurting the very economy they’re supposed to help."

in 2020, basic eggs at Aldi were 0.95$

saved you a click:
President Donald Trump promised cheaper groceries when he took office, but two months in, it seems the president is sick of all the complaining. To make his point, the president shared an article from the Daily Caller on Truth Social titled “Shut Up About Egg Prices — Trump Is Saving Consumers” that minimizes concerns about the increasing cost of eggs. The article, written by right-wing commentator Charlie Kirk, concedes that “a dozen currently costs around $7, up from just $2 in October.” However, Kirk contends that inflation during Trump’s presidency isn’t as severe as critics suggest and tells voters to stop whining. “The high price of eggs is in no way President Trump’s fault,” Kirk writes. “Almost all the increase took place during Biden’s final months in office.” The pro-Trump article further defended the president, saying, “Trump is already hard at work to deliver savings for American families.”

yeah sure, just be sure to note that WiFi is creepy beyond imagination (and is proposed to keep getting worse)

so you might have been grifted, but your actions affect other people. your car is a spy mobile that sucks up innocent bystanders’ data without their consent. and yeah, maybe do research before supporting a company, like how Cocacola did business with Hitler - but even that ignorant at best $2 purchase doesn’t negatively affect everyone else to the extent your car does

isn’t the point of the fediverse to not consolidate?
how’s this holding up today?

no. physical currencies have a more complex formula on a good “cost vs use” ratio. it’s usually many years of use to justify spending any amount of resources on a physical currency, otherwise the currency would collapse under its own weight of having to create itself

a nickel (0.05$) costs 14 pennies (0.14$) to make

''No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than three times, nor be elected to any additional term after being elected to two consecutive terms," the amendment states. Former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama all served two consecutive terms, and thus would be barred from being elected to a third term. But not Trump, who is the first president since Grover Cleveland in 1892 to be elected to a second, non-consecutive term.

I say this meme that said something like “practical joke idea: give everyone all the world’s knowledge, but don’t tell them what’s true or false”
