  • My assumption is that between epsteins ‘suicide’ and her arrest, she set up some sort of Deadman’s switch on her blackmail, assuring that trump and the rest of them go down if she dies.

My assumption is that Trump is semi in on it- the blackmail epstei collected on the rest of the republican party is what ensured maga control / keeps them in line.

Therefore hes in a sort of mexican standoff with ghislane- her legal predicament and keeping her from being able to act is his leverage on her. he can’t let her go free; then she flees, he loses control over her, and with her his leverage on the party, and shes now free to force him, and the rest of the repiblicans to do what she wants. He can’t kill her, like epstein, because A, deadmans switch, and B, again, he loses leverage over the party.

  • I think this is the defect of a 2 party system, and the fact that it incentivizes party above body (of government)

Congress and the executive should want to fight for their respective bodies’ power, in a vacuum, to ensure they have the maximum effect in their position, whicb would lead to them fighting eachother on overreach.

But with parties, the executive and his party’s members in congress have the same goals. And since congress has minority representation while the executive does not, in order to maximize those goals, a majority party with the presidency is incentivized to increase executive power at the cost of legislative, to increase the parties goals, and minimize the effect of the minority parties power to hinder them.

This would return to the norm whenever you had an opposing congress, if it werent for the executive veto/ signatory powers, meaning a president with a 1/3 minority in congress can prevent the return of power to the legislative.

And then, when the congress and president of the other party align, they have no reason to lessen the power the other side pushed towards the executive, and and continue to push for the same transfer to tbe executive to increase their efficacy.

  • I think this is why Republicans are so affraid of the epstein files. Its not just that theyre incontrovertible proof that many are pedophiles. I think they constitute proof that control of the party has been usurped by a foreign government (russia) via blackmail for quite some time. I also dont think they show trump as just a pedo being blackmailed, but as a facilitator of the blackmail scheme.

Its fairly well known that Trump had buisness ties to the Russian mob, using his real estate and casinos etc to launder money for them. And the bratva often acts as an arm of the FSB.

I think epstein was a low level pedo traficker maybe doing some low level blackmail before he met trump.

Trump introduced him to the russians, who elevated the operation- giving him funding and increasing access to the elites- then using their victims to create a war chest and their influence to cast a wider net, until they had enough politicians / rich people to buy politicians to usurp the republican party.

I think this blackmail is now a necessary step for induction into the party- its not just that the party attracts deplorables, its that they need to hand over blackmail against themselves to be inducted into the inner circle.

  • I think thats kind of the point of him; he makes donny look like a stateman in comparison. More to the point, I think hes meant to be a vessel to transfer the control of the maga party to someone else once Donny dies.

Donnie dies, he becomes president, maga goes into mourning. Pundits dismiss anyone trying to make a move for leadership, except whoever theil et al have chosen as the replacement, who gets to ‘campaign’ to the base without competition (everyone else gets told its not the time, to have respect for trump, and the nation is mounting etc)

After their new guy has had time to ingratiate himself to the magats, Vance nominates him to VP. The media then plays up Vance’s unlikeability, and blames everything thats failing under trump right now on him- and hes either forced to step down, or 25thed as unfit, allowing the new guy to take the office of presidency. Bonus is if they can string out president vance until the halfway mark, the new guy gets 2 years that dont count as a term for him- meaning he can rule for 10 years before they have to worry about abolishing term limits or finding a new figurehead.
