I don’t have any links handy, but the party as a whole is more or less centrist. Socially more left-wing, economically more right-wing. There are various groups in the party that lean either more left or more right. Basically, if you’re “centrist” when comparing yourself to the actual centrist Democrat policies and the right-wing Republican policies, you’re pretty much at best center-right.

They’re “centrist” in terms of US politics, but in terms of global politics, they are at best center-right or just straight up right-wing.
