A “generation” of students aren’t prompt engineers. And even if you learned one useless skill in your major during college, you still have the entire rest of the program. I haven’t used many of the skills I learned in college and my industry has changed extensively since then, but learning those things contributed to a larger competency.

Her 2020 campaign wasn’t actually that good. She started with the same boost of optimism and then fell apart once she started defining specifics and every other statement was walking things back. She flamed out for a reason.

I agree with your statement here though. She had all the momentum and tools to win and flubbed it through actual choices, not some inherent insurmountable challenges.

Another recent change was Trump pushing for the filibuster to be removed. The establishment could just claim it was because they need it to stop him so they should never stop him enough that he would make Republicans do it, but it could also be seen as a freedom they don’t want to have should we get a Democratic trifecta in the future. Being able to say “I want to do good things, but shucks the system stopped me” is a valuable tool for elected officials.

I think it would take some exceptional political gymnastics for Hochul to have personally campaigned with him and then justify how his election must be annulled. There’s another article about 6 in 10 saying the country is seriously off track. It’s hard to figure out the voter that says this and then is unsure who to vote for, but somehow that ends up with 8% saying “I don’t know”.
