  • Yeah but they got to do something. They are the reason the police isn’t moving in. So if I were in their place I’d either coordinate with the police so they could move in or try to take the situation in my own hands or stop protesting all together because it allows people to do looting under my umbrella. That makes me responsible. If the looting happened anywhere else the cops would have done something about it long ago. So like go to a protest tomorrow that isn’t right next to a store that you must have taken notice of by now is being looted.

  • I am specifically talking about the guy in a wheelchair and at least 5 other people I’ve recognised that were in the midst of the protest before. Those are clearly protesters not criminals that randomly showed up or just tagged along.

They are of course only a small portion of the protesters. However no one calling the cops on them or hindering them makes them complicit.

Edit: just realised the meme called all book banners not good guys instead of bad guys. And I agree the Bavarian government are definitely not good guys. Still left the original reply for ceomleteness’ sake even though it’s based on a wrong premise.

I agree that it should not be banned. However this one mistake isn’t enough to label the people who banned it as bad guys. Overall the people who banned it, namely the Bavarian government, did an OK job at managing their state. They are conservative to be sure and passed a bunch of other bad legislation but not enough to make them bad guys. I associate bad guys with movie villains and while there are governments around the world that are on that level the Bavarian government isn’t amongst them.

  • At the end of the day yes. But it’d also be good start if normal Americans realised that american millionaires aren’t part of their community and don’t represent them. And the rich guys know that they’r a seperate group with different common interests. But they still claim to be American and that their goal is to make America great again.

  • You can certainly call Trump a neonazi. I agree with that. I wouldn’t do it because I don’t think his ideology a good enough fit for all the ideas that Neo-Nazi means (e.g. the afformentioned master race habitat expansion) so it can sound like accusing him of ideas he doesn’t have.

Also I assume you are missing some facts. So let me give you those.

Concentration Camps are not the same as Death Camps. Both are horrible but creating a system to efficiently deport immigrants and creating a system to efficiently murder immigrants are two very different things.

The Kristallnacht happened in 1938. all over Germany a couple hundred jews were killed by the joint effort of NSDAP groups and german civilians. 1400 jewish religious sites were destroyed. All in a few days. The Nuremberg Laws were passed in even earlier in 1935. They wrote into law that Jews and their descendants weren’t part of the german people. That was the justification to illegalise Jewish and non Jewish marriagees.
