Unfortunately yes. In another post someone asked “what’s to stop Trump bombing Chicago?”. The only real answer is American service members all the way down the chain of command disobeying the blatantly illegal order to bomb Chicago.

At the end of it all, political power really rests in who has the biggest stick, and the biggest stick in the world is the US military.

If the military is beholden to Trump, then he has his kingship, if they honor their oath to the constitution, he doesn’t.

Was at a few events in North of Chicago and did see some coal rolling.

Was at multiple events through out the day in burbs north of Chicago. Nothing but relaxed peaceful people waving signs and honking horns.

For me there is no line. I do not have a military super power at my disposal.

If the US military is on one side of the violence, there is no force on earth I’m aware of to counter that.

We have to protest peacefully and in larger numbers to be sure if that time comes, they are on our side.

That is what I’ve been thinking. Guy has been dead from almost day one, and in fact that is likely the point of these prison camps.

They want to be able to disappear people, and it’s a lot more effort and money to keep them alive. El Salvador is just an off site extermination facility, and they are playing “Well, we can’t bring him back” cause they won’t admit what they have done.
