We are spending our money, after taxes, on things taxes should be paying for, so we are paying twice? No, because the things our taxes are being paid for are oligarchs to be richer. Why were we still paying taxes if they aren’t primarily benefitting the population? We don’t have a government for the people by the people. We have propaganda keeping oligarchs in power of a corporatocracy.

Pretty sure that’s how right and left politicians work. I’m not saying it’s a good thing, that’s just generally how politics works now that impeachment means nothing, especially when people have such short memories.
