He actually does have unique dialogue if you save him, but not much. Trying to talk with him after saving him will have him say, “I don’t want to talk about it,” and immediately end conversation.

Additionally, Tamriel Rebuilt makes him the court mage at Old Ebonheart and adds a quest about selecting a replacement after he dies. Or, if you managed to save him, you can find him in Old Ebonheart for a reward.

Fortunately, the blindness can be countered with magic resistance, which only resists negative effects (like blind) while allowing positive effects (like fortify speed) to work unimpeded.

She’s a Qanon die-hard first, Trump supporter second. A portion of the Qanon faction has started to break with Trump over the Epstein stuff.

MAGA has five core factions, though they have significant overlap. Qanon folks are one, people wishing for a return to a mythologized golden age are another, then racists, followed by fascists, and then the anti-establishment folks who support Trump because they see him as a political outsider. The racists and fascists are happy, but the others periodically produce disillusioned people who sometimes leave MAGA.

NWN2, actually. NWN1 didn’t have any kind of base to operate out of. NWN2 is also the one that did the meta stuff.

A Malkavian PC figures out who their cabbie is late in the game and goes into a fit of screaming terror. Caine politely waits for them to finish.

Returns is extremely linear and lacks a party though, in addition to the later games having improved mechanics. Also, there’s a mod for Hong Kong that remakes the Returns campaign.

Hong Kong is exceptionally wordy. That’s not necessarily bad, but I spent far more time going through conversations with the party than I did on runs, and I’m a quick reader. They’re excellently written characters, but the conversations had little interactivity and were just pages of text with ocassional dialogue options. Conversation in Dragonfall flowed much better.

Gobbet is still the best character, though.
