You are all worried about being drafted and the inequity of Baron getting off the hook like this (whether it’s a true headline or not). Just do what Ted Nugent did, and shit yourself for 3 day and get a mental illness waiver!
Stop there though and don’t molest underage girls
You’re probably right in some cases, but I think it’s more of a way of people dealing with their disbelief that it’s come to this. There’s a lot of ways to process the current insanity; dark humour is possibly the most accessible though.
The first statement implies that fascists are deserving of equal rights as everyone else. This don’t the case, though, because what they want is the destruction of other people’s rights.
Fascists don’t play by the rules, because they don’t think they apply to them or they are inconvenient. If they rules don’t apply to you then they don’t apply to you. Can’t have it both ways.
Guise, it only ate part of his brain. Ok? Not the whole thing. Like literally just a little nibble here and there. /S
TV software is fucking abysmal. Its laggy, full of bloat and as you point out, their wifi capabilities are shit. I even have the connection/speed issue right now with one of my older TVs.

I fail to see how sharing memes is a bad thing. Lemmy is a great community, its leagues better than what Reddit was, even in its heyday, and certainly better than the shit-buffet it has become.
While OC is great, it’s really tough to make, especially at the frequency needed to provide new content and keep people interested. Further, 90% (or something) of people on here lurk, with the remaining 10% split between commentators and posters.
Don’t like it? Vote with your feet.

I never actually played this game but was young when it came out
Honestly, it makes more sense - what am I, a mid-level scientist, going to bring to that corporate atmosphere? You’re going to ask me to brainstorm in a meeting with an Executive VP? Yeah. Fucking. Right.
You give me work, I do the work. Yes I might need to ask a question, but that’s uncommon and I can just teams for that.
The seniors execs? That makes sense. They need to all be on the same page, and talking to each other. Collaborating etc.
You should watch the documentary “Crack” - it was very eye opening, and contrary to your argument. Their perspective is that Crack was very deliberately facilitated in poorer communities. Less of a "hey those are our drugs, and you guys can’t have them and more of a "if we feed you drugs, you’ll be too busy fighting amongst yourselves perspective. I’m guessing the truth is somewhere in the middle.
I’ll give it a whirl. I don’t find I have any difficulty picking up stuff though

As in you instantly lose an erection, because you’ve been conditioned to associate footfalls with a ruined orgasm?
It’s it from other men applauding you?

I’m for sure getting a rare form of cancer then. Nalgene water bottles in the bush working all day every day. Thankfully I’m out of it now

IIRC weren’t you a power user or whatever too? Been a loooong time since I was on reddit
