Big “The police department have investigated themselves and found no wrongdoing” energy

Valid post, and given the scale of DnD dragons I’d say that an adventurer is about the size of a cat relative to an adult dragon. IRL, a cat being able to attack you and successfully kill you would be pretty fucked up even if it’s theoretically possible.
Incidentally however…
A cat in DnD does have the ability to reliably fight and kill a Commoner.
So what I’m saying is that it should actually be a valid plot to put humans in the position of some shitty media’s dragons- once dominant, but through the power of one especially heroic housecat who has exceptionally strong plot armour, we are reduced to a dying race, ancient and forgotten by the new era.

But remember, we DO. NOT. LET. UP.
Not until every vote has been cast. Not until it’s over. Don’t get cocky, this is the narrowest race I’ve ever seen and by god there is no room for apathy or overconfidence.

Peak Konsi content, this might not normally be my style of character but I LOVE it when she gets to nonchalantly and completely accidentally upend people’s understanding of reality

WotC and failing to understand their own game, name a more iconic duo

Alright. That’s a perfectly reasonable concern. Do the Democrats have a concrete plan prepared to ensure that this doesn’t turn into Bush v Gore round 2? Because if Trump manages to legally contest this to the Supreme Court, then little problems like ‘Justice’ and ‘Truth’ certainly won’t get in their way of installing a dictator.
People really need to understand that for 3rd party candidates to actually be viable then they need a dedicated support base within the existing government structure.
You can’t realistically vote in a 3rd party president until you’ve first built up an actually effective support structure of 3rd party mayors, senators, and other politicians to prove that your party can function effectively in government rolls and that it has the reach, policies and platform to actually appeal to voters at large.
(On god we need Ranked Choice voting though. Here in the UK and in America. Fuck First Past The Post, all my homies hate FPTP)
“Roll a death save.”
“No.”
“…No? You can’t just not do that?”
“I don’t care.”
“That doesn’t make any sense!”
“Too bad.” Gets back up with 50% HP

Just please remember: Don’t let up until the results are being read. Every vote counts and nothing could be worse than pissing away a win because we got cocky based on some early signs
This may sound strange, but honestly once you understand the game it’s really the other way around!
The official 5e devs do NOT have any clue what they’re doing in terms of encounter balance and design; almost everything gets crapped on by a good spellcaster or Ranger, and they play it pretty safe and corporate with stories too. Half of 5e adventures are copies of old adventures and it really shows because all the copies of old classics are actually way more respected and generally liked (Curse of Strahd, Sunless Citadel, White Plume Mountain) than 5e originals (Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen). Notable exception being Dragons of Stormwreck Isle. Despite being the smallest original adventure in 5e it’s honestly good.
Still, I really appreciate the meme for our community! You’re the backbone of lemmy with all your posts my guy

Wew, 10% per year? That’s actually pretty solid, if I’m not missing anything. And having a good deal that lasts THIS long actually flips the normal shitty status quo of multi-year contracts on its’ head, now they won’t need to go to the effort of big strikes for a good few years while they’ve got these fair wage increases locked in.

Isn’t this the plot of Fire Emblem Three Houses

Well the primary reason they would “backfire” is because Trump is perfectly consistent about being full of shit. There is literally no way that he’s going to do something that benefits anyone other than himself. We’ve had 8 years to learn that.

“Political endorsement can backfire”
You think she doesn’t know this? Girl stayed as neutral as she possibly could for YEARS.
Her hand was forced; Trump put her in a position where if she didn’t pick a side, then that would be an implicit but very clear endorsement of him. And as she definitely didn’t want to endorse him… well, the rest is history.

On one hand: I know damn well that formatting is a huge bitch, because I’ve made my own huge homebrew for the game.
On the other hand: This is a multi-million dollar company that’s been around for bloody ages. Hiring a professional formatter shouldn’t even be a blip in the budget.
On the contrary, puzzles can be half the fun, especially if your players are idiots
There is a Young Black Dragon in my world who was literally never meant to be a major issue for any players but currently has EIGHT player character deaths attributed to him, because the first (level 8) party TPKd when they tried to move deeper into his territory to ambush him after he stole one of their bags, and they all drowned in a bog (trying to help each other and the ones who went to help also getting into trouble). Then there was a oneshot where a second (level 5) party went to his lair to avenge the first one and they also TPK’d because he got a surprise round against them.
Nah, this is the right amount of spice. We should back Harris, but we need to stay self-aware. Don’t want to end up like the Republicans.
I wonder how much this whole situation resonates with what happened in Argentina, when they elected Milei.
Milei to them was an obvious lunatic who would probably be terrible but had a small chance to be different, versus their traditional party who would very obviously just continue the country’s predictable economic decline.
Then again, I can’t really see any way Trump could be good for you if you’re poor. Not ever by the most charitable interpretations.
