As an American who voted third party instead of Kamala because of these kinds of policy’s, (I don’t mean to offend you) but I don’t think you know what you’re talking about.

That’s a privileged ass take right there. You think the difference between kamala’s policy’s and universal healthcare and state paid high education are small?
Yeah that’s what Im saying fuck Nazis
😘 your vote was pointless too sweetie
Except those ones, hate the shit out of Nazis of course. Maga or otherwise
3rd party voter here. Let’s stop hating fellow poors and collectively hate the rich and powerful who are really responsible
No it’s only 3 thirds us 😡 /s

Found another way to dunk on you lol. Here’s a post about the direct aid hexbear was giving Palestinians

I can agree with that. 🤝 Fuck trump punch Nazis

I can agree with that 🤝

Don’t get me wrong I hate trump and the Republicans too. I blame the Dems because they manage to lose to Republicans. Beating them should be ridiculously easily but they always find a way to loose or not have enough votes to do the good things they promise. Every election they move further to the right. If we had an actual left wing party and not controlled opposition we wouldn’t be in this situation.

Y’all wanna blame anyone but the Dems for their shitty campaign. Last time I checked adding all the green party votes to the Democrats wouldn’t have changed the outcome.

I don’t care what you think. Stop punching left and start punching Nazis
Who told you that the US government?

You can be against the genocide in Palestine and against Russians expansionist war in Ukraine.
You should try it some time.

I’m seeing ton of leftists post about it on the good parts of Lemmy like hexbear. Don’t know why libs don’t care about genocide 🤷

That’s a good outlook stranger and that’s fair I didn’t give you substance. I’ll give you some now.
"*I’m saying from the perspective of American voters. And for them, yes, genocide in a faraway place is a small issue. If they’re even aware it’s happening at all.
But also, I don’t think the policy differences here are that impactful. I don’t see the US stopping the genocide without going to war, which I don’t see any appetite for from anyone."*
There are lots of polls and ways to slice this but this tracks with what I see
Voter turn out went from 66.6% in 2020 to 63.9% in 2024. Well, this could be contributed to a lot of things. I think we’d be remiss not to consider that a large chunk of these were people who wouldn’t vote for Kamala because of the genocide in Gaza.
Or what about the shower number of protests and protesters over the country? How many of these people changed their vote or didn’t vote because the of the genocide? They obviously care? Source
