  • Exactly. I’m so tired of watching the left destroy themselves from the inside. Progress is slow. The right are clearly masters of playing the long game, they’ve been building to current events for decades. They’re happy to take the 10% wins bit by bit. They’re happy to make sacrifices for their progress.

Meanwhile the left demands nothing but perfection, and constantly cannibalises itself for not being perfect and revolutionising the world day 1.

You don’t have to suddenly love the guy, rewrite history, or swear loyalty. You just have to know when someone’s actually helping and not get in the way.

The right wins because they fight together. Business conservatives, evangelicals, fascists, libertarians. They might hate each other behind the scenes, but they march in line, and they’ll eat burnt toast with a smile if it gets them closer to running the kitchen.

  • They did make themselves clear and I respect them sticking to their principles if nothing else. I just hope it was really worth it to them if the republicans actually pull off a dictatorship like they’ve been promising. Like good job sticking it to those dems in the one election they might not ever get to rectify it.

And I hope it was worth it to them the people getting caught up in all the bullshit, such as having their lives ruined, being sent to prison for life, and dying, in the next 4 years regardless of whether they stay in power.

Again, at least the genocide they were worried about was averted, right.

  • So then let me ask you this. Why did you agree the top 200 are the richest? Why is 200 such a magic number? By your logic it would actually just be the top 100. No wait top 50. Oh wait no, literally only the richest person is the richest, because you can’t have a bigger group, or else you have to include the entire earth for some reason. Because a bigger group of the category “richest people” contains that single richest person.

So the Republican party isn’t the worst, because there’s a single member of it that is the actual worst. So whoever we vote for is the lesser evil, as long as we don’t vote for literally just the single guy that is the worst. Makes sense right?

  • Correct. The group, as a whole, are the most.

Maybe you need a different example to understand.

Take the 400 wealthiest people in the world. They make 2 gangs, first one is made up of the top 200 richest and the second is made up of the 201-400 richest people.

The first group is the richest of the two. But the 2 groups, as a whole, are made up of the richest people in the world.

    Make sense?
