Is this really the second most common? I would put the SS lightning bolts, imperial eagle, and iron cross above this. I didn’t recognize this as a nazi symbol when all this broke, and I have seen are we the baddies memes

I fucking hate this because I write with em dashes and properly used semicolons all the time. I’ve started altering my writing style because I’m worried people will assume it’s AI written because of those things.

Apologies, I’m usually better at adding descriptions. I’ve edited it, and it says: Damn, that’s crazy. Where are the Epstein Files

Anymore? He hasn’t been coherent in decades, if ever

The dose makes the poison. I have seen people go from helped by prescription adderall to completely paranoid and detached from reality at high doses.
It can be both bad for him at his dosages and good for others, and I think most people here have understood that, though maybe I’m being optimistic

My friend got a dozen or more marriage proposals in Egypt, some including pretty sizable dowries—which really did not help as much as the people offering the proposals wanted. I’m guessing the only reason she wasn’t followed like this was due to the presence of her family

Many people are doing this.
That’s just because polling was off. This major poll right before the election had Harris up by 4 points.

Now that it’s clear that Harris’s really well run campaign underperformed Hillary Clinton, can we finally end the myth that some failing of her campaign strategy or “likability” was the primary reason for her loss rather than sexism and Comey’s shenanigans? It really seems like a very large number of men just won’t vote for a woman in the US.

From that article:
This quotation is often incorrectly attributed to Francis M. Wilhoit:
Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.[10]
However, it was actually a 2018 blog response by 59-year-old Ohio composer Frank Wilhoit, years after Francis Wilhoit’s death.[11]

I answered an unknown number recently because it was from an area code I was expecting a call. It turned out to be a pollster, at least they presented themselves as such. The first few questions seemed reasonable, but then it quickly became obvious that it was a call supporting someone running for local office pretending to be a poll. I was not going to vote for that person to begin with, but this was really disgusting.

Wow, it’s only 52%? That’s so disheartening

Isn’t that how we got the national treasure that is Rachel Maddow?
Since the 2024 election I’ve been constantly wondering what the event would be that should trigger all out riot to restore democracy. The answer I always come up with is cancelled/sham election.
