It was not a legitimate election. Americans didn’t fail anything beyond letting a dictator be born due to their own lack of political education. But they did not vote for this in reality.

This situation will likely not lead to any type of meaningful midterm. Trump is not going to be leaving by his own volition. This is far worse than what most people can wrap their minds around right now. The DC move will be replicated in other cities soon, and the real bullshit will begin. When we did not prosecute Trump for his coup attempt, it was always going to lead here.

We do not have the military power to kill half of our population beyond nukes. They don’t have the numbers to maintain control except in illusion. The fourteenth will be a staunch reminder to Trump that this is a hell of a large country, he cannot control it with force, and that tank parades don’t mean a goddamn thing except to egomaniacs.

Except we do have ai and robots now. This isn’t every other generation in history, we are dealing with gigantic changes. That said, we need better standards about when to end lives. Everyone shouldn’t be kept alive forever. It’s not healthy or natural. My grandparents all died in nursing homes at like 100. Their quality of life was shit. That’s not how to deal with the problem of aging.
