She would’ve continued the slow slide into fascism that brought about Trump in the first place. She would’ve been better than Trump, sure. But after her, we would’ve gotten another figure like Trump.

I can’t say that I’m against this, if used appropriately (which of course Trump won’t). For example against entities their respective juristictions do nothing against, like North Korean hackers or Russian bot farms. It’s no secret that Russia, China, North Korea and Iran, to name a few, are actively directing hacker groups.

They are furious, but not because Trump is a child diddler. They are only outraged because Trump is not releasing the files.

What I don’t get is why Trump even cares. Clearly his “Grab 'em by the pussy” remark is telling you all you need to know about him and just as clearly, MAGA doesn’t care.

Maybe it just really is the fact that his supporters have hyped up all those who are on that list not just as rapists, which they seem to have no problem with, but as the demonspawn in flesh. So Trump isn’t concerned that he may be labeled as rapist, as that label didn’t stick before, but as incomprehensible evil, or Clinton for short.

Well you see, the movie’s message was “Don’t be a shit person, including to brown people”. You can probably tell what got conservatives so outraged.

Come next election cycle, there needs to be a reckoning. Not only does Trump and many of his appointees go to prison, it also needs to be investigated how so many bureaucrats and officers are so willing to do Trump’s bidding. Unless those people are removed too, Trump 2.0 is going to happen.

It was the lack of access to the right information. Most people won’t spend hours researching a topic. Most people don’t spend any time on seeking outbinformation. They only absorb whatever information they happen to come across. And liars are especially adept at being loud. So they’re the first, and often only, to be heard.

In a world without corruption, a ministry of truth would work wonders. In our world, I don’t know what would work.

That’s the problem with hateful people. They don’t see those stories as a warning, they see it as a blueprint.
