I hope they don’t cave this time. If they don’t do something to get the monthly premiums down millions of Americans will go without healthcare, and the cost of caring for people without insurance will be offloaded or “Cost shifted” to people who have insurance, forcing them to pay an inflated price for treatments, visits, and procedures.
No one I know is surprised by this news article. My only reaction is that it’s hard to believe that such young men posted such despicable content, and they aren’t higher up in the MAGA/GOP food chain.

my two cents (and if my upvotes are any indication my two cents is worthless) the real problem is that when you raise the minimum wage, you build an opportunity for companies to raise the prices on everything, and then we get into an inflation problem.
Example, my home state can raise minimum wage from 9 to 12 dollars an hour, but that 25% increase in pay would be all the excuse Walmart would need to jack up the prices to cover their loses;
Not saying we shouldn’t have a working/livable wage, but we gotta do something that forces companies to pay the workers more, and the owners/CEO less some how. Like an inverse tax calculation that benefits the company for paying lots of people more, instead of just the few at the time a premium.
I’m sure an economist can explain this better.
Well, I truly believe Trump is evil and should be impeached and thrown of out office, I just don’t think it will be for this unless an inside can provide proof that Trump did it for reasons, “OTHER Than self defense”, it’s just too easy for our Presidents to say, “I felt like Iran was a threat that constituted an emergency and then decided to act in order to protect America.”.
Over all, we’ve just given the PResident far too much power.

In the late 1970s and early 80s Iraq under the control of Saddam Hussein used chemical weapons, including mustard, gas to attack Iran.
Under Saddam Hussein Iraq also used chemical weapons to attack a minority ethnic population called the Kurdish in their own borders
And in the 1990’s Saddam, invaded another country without cause.
All those facts together, it felt totally reasonable to believe that Saddam Hussein had chemical weapons and was willing to use them or give them to terrorist
I know that this is contrary to the popular message in the media these days, but it’s a time living through the actual event, there was another perspective to this whole story
