Sorry about your experience but I’ve been hearing about his mental/physical health decline since probably the day he was elected. The Trump era has been seemingly hours from over every day for the last ten years.
I’ll believe it’s over when he’s gone.
And, unfortunately, at this point I feel like MAGA is actually bigger than him.
It’s interesting because virtually none of that anti-Irish sentiment exists on the West Coast. Someone of fair complexion here is considered “white”, full stop.

Biden should have announced he wasn’t running and allowed the primary process to play out. If he hadn’t, then the DNC should have overridden him. It’s unbelievable that they didn’t anticipate or care that Trump would win again.
We desperately need electoral reform. There’s no issue with moderates existing. The issue is that currently the choice is either moderates or fascists. And the fascists are quite adept at portraying the moderates as authoritarian communists.

That income range still very much encompasses “normal” people who already pay a large share of income taxes.
Tax the super rich (both income and wealth), and redistribute that money via healthcare, education and social programs like UBI.

I have many many leftist friends that are actually mad at Harris for supporting Israel. Saw a ton of it on social media prior to the election. Wouldn’t be surprised is most of them abstained from voting.
But if people don’t vote, does it matter?
Biden got people excited about student debt relief.
This is not why Biden got elected. Trump so badly mishandled Covid that everyone left of center demanded change.
I’ve seen many people skate by doing very little in both the private and public sector. Think of the average person’s intelligence and realize the vast vast majority of them are employed.
