When Republicans are in the minority they are obstructionist fucks, getting their message out and actual media attention with performative bullshit, generally being effective as the opposition party. When Dems are in the minority all you get is whiney “somebody do something!” bleets from leadership. This is why we lose, our representatives are unwilling to fight for the people. Moron voters see Trump and Republicans as actually willing to try to do something to improve their lives, while Dems complain about process to cable news hosts nobody watches. The Trump admin is acting lawlessly, and Dems meet that moment by asking Republicans in Congress to do something about it? Fucking hell, do something, show up, fight, inspire, lead.
If that was Biden’s motivation, then where is Fauci’s pardon? Or Adam “Enemy from Within” Schiff’s pardon? Or what about Liz Chenney who is supposed to face treason charges according to Trump, where is her pardon? What about Jack Smith, where is his pardon? Kash Patel has an appendix in his book which is a literal enemies and prosecution list, any pardons for anyone on that list?
If Biden was concerned about the Trump justice department going after his political enemies, and Biden wanted to protect those people, there’s probably 80+ pardons he should be handing out.
But instead he only issued one. For his son. So Biden is either actually concerned about overreach of the Trump justice department but he’s only willing to save his son, and leave everyone else hanging. Or, Biden isn’t actually that concerned with the Trump justice department and is just abusing his pardon power to protect his shithead son from the consequences of his own actions. Either way, fuck Joe Biden.
I heard the FBI has a file on Tulsi Gabbard and her activities with Russia et al. Biden could declassify that report to tank her becoming DNI. Mentioned on the “Hacks on Tap” podcast from yesterday, so this isn’t just some social media conspiracy theory, it comes from plugged in politicos. Biden won’t, but he could.
Biden was objectively less coherent than Trump. And I don’t say that to praise Trump, it’s just reality. Also the media did a great job of sane washing Trump, cutting out specific sentences he said, rather than letting voters see the full incoherent rambling. But Trump did a better job of forming sentences, I’m sorry but that’s true. Go back and listen to Biden’s full remarks when he made the garbage comment, somewhere in that word salad it sounded like he was about to refer to his home town as being in Puerto Rico, realizing his mistake he pivoted and just shot out the garbage remark.
On the plus side, voters are going to be treated to 4 years of uninterrupted exposure to Trump’s ramblings as his mind continues to diminish. The media can’t sane wash that.
MAGA-flation. Republican -flation. Trump is a lame duck, but MAGA will survive. Messaging that ties everything that Trump fucksup to him alone gives Republicans in 2 or 4 years room to duck the consequences (I didn’t do it, Trump did it, I don’t agree with everything he did, blah blah blah). We need to make sure to tie everything Trump does to the whole Republican party now, so they all pay the price for letting Trump take over their party and fuck the economy and everything else.

Yeah his very limited contributions to the campaign sure reminded us all of how great he was as a campaigner. Like when they confined him to a zoom call with supporters and he word saladed his way into calling Trump supporters “garbage”. Biden, a real master of messaging, he surely would have overcome the 15 point deficit he had in the swing states, the 80% plus of all voters saying he was too old to have another term, being 30 points underwater in his approval rating, and inspired the masses with his sharp populist messaging.

Interesting issue. Does their belief in their right to power control? There’s that crazy lady in Canada who calls herself the queen of Canada and issues edicts and whatever every now and then (somehow connected to qanon, I don’t remember the details). Could a US official accept a “title” bestowed by her, since she claims nobility and authority?
My recollection on the emoluments issue was SCOTUS punted in the same way they did with respect to Trump’s ability to run for office after the insurrection - Congress must declare the violation, and the remedy is presumably impeachment. So the practical effect is zero, since Congress would never take this up, let alone impeach and remove. I’d love if Dems did though, it would be fun seeing Republicans defend their justice receiving nighthood from some weird ass secret society thing.

Bezos has tons of federal government contracts. When Trump was president last time he went after Amazon and others he disliked to get their contracts cancelled. Bezos is concerned that if Trump wins, Trump could fuck with his contracts.

When you get past the gross stuff, you can see the Biden admin wants to use this as an opportunity to force Israel to a cease fire. Good luck with that though, Israeli defense minister already declared the war will go on indefinitely. To Israel, there is no day after short of ethnic cleansing. But hope and ignorance spring eternal for Biden:

How the fuck is he going to get his party on board for “government handouts” without the freedom caucus making some asinine demand that tanks the whole thing. Johnson certainly doesn’t want to remind voters of the shit show of distinction that is the Republican controlled House weeks before an election.
Pull all your vulnerable members off the campaign trail in the final weeks so that you can put on a fuck fuck circus generating daily headlines about how Republicans can’t govern? Fat fucking chance.
And if Biden calls a special session, Republicans are going to say it’s political to make them look bad, cause they can’t govern.
Newsome has to get the legislature to put it on the ballot, Californians have to approve it. The nonpartisan redistricting commission was created by referendum and can only be changed by referendum. It’s good that he’s supporting the initiative and pushing it. Pat on the head for that.
But you ever noticed Newsome doesn’t fight for shit unless it personally affects him? Round up immigrants and send them to El Salvador? Newsome doesn’t want to even talk about that cause he thinks it’s a political loser for him personally. Trans kids being discriminated in sports? Newsome thinks he’d do better in a presidential election if he’s a little bigoted since Kamela got hit on the issue, so fuck trans kids. Trump rounding up immigrants in LA, big meh from newsome. However, Trump takes over Newsome’s national guard, now newsome is ready to fight. Republicans rigging the House which could mean a president Newsome would have to deal with a Republican house, now he’s going to the mat.
So yeah, glad Newsome is doing a thing for once (or more accurately supporting the citizens being able to do the thing), but he’s still a piece of shit.
