This gives me such revolutionary war vibes. The “fathers of the revolution” were not revolutionist, they did not want independence from Britain, but wanted thier legal rights upheld. The monarchy feared what they might do and so sent soldiers after them labeling them as revolutionist. Thier message then became one agianst the monarchy, tensions continued to escalate and well, revolution.

I was bringing it up half out of people tending to use veterans and soldiers as justification for “cracking down” on things like flag burning, saying how it disrespects our troops or something. When 1) as you say, thier opinion doesn’t matter and 2) They also aren’t as offended as republicans say they are.

Many U.S. veterans I know support the right of freedom of expression, to include flag burning. They say they feel its disrespectful but its the right they bleed for, for people to express themselves

I remember a case where this singer burnt an american flag in protest (I think korean war) and the president was grilled on his take on the matter and he daid that whats beautiful about our country, that we can do these things, and that im the countries we are fighting agianst thier citizens dont have the same freedoms as americans.

I could 100% believe it. This not based on any study, but it would make aense more americans practice home remedies when ill rather than go to a doctor. Like feeling sick? If you dont need a doctors note just rest, stay hydrated. The rule of thumb is if it lasts more then 14 days see a doctor. Sprain a muscle, joint or break a bone, if its not a compound break (Bone out of skin) you can usually get away with just putting it in a splint yourself. We own multiple braces and crutches for that.

So yeah, alot of Americans I think they dont think of calling emergency services or seeing a doctor when they are ill or injured, only if its like workers comp, car accident or gets bad enough (aforementioned 14 days cough).

Many reason, when I was typing I didn’t realize I was spelling it incorrectly, I am sleep deprived, dizzy from the heat and I never was taught english proper. The national gaurd is the only armed forces generally allowed to be deployed to U.S. soil, (although laws in the last 25 years have also changed that) and can be used for police actions when the situation is dire enough. (It is not the spirit of the law for depolyment of national gaurd to bully political opposition but its not specifically safeguarded bcs obviously congress would never let democracy be shot in front them, right?)

While he must lie about thier offical misson, he can technically do all this legally. Congress needs to step up and shut this down, but ofc GOP is all for the elimination of dissent.

Everything in our country right now is aslow cooker popping off, most of this stuff has been building for 40-60+ years.

…all the while being an educator watching chikdren being raised unaware of just all that is going on, thier education at risk every other week trying not to have them affected by wild illegal witholding of funds or witch hunts into best educational practices. We are trachers but must be prepared to defend ourselves, and our students from ICE, terrorists, educational extremists and more.

Years ago I helped out at an event, a loal mechanic volunteered, spent the day doing 100% free oil changes. People complained so hard because of all the people he couldn’t get to, and demanding compensation, the organizers had to ask him not to volunteer agian. For context this was a single mothers event at a church. Same church people got mad I opened the door for people (Because I got thanked and then they fought over who should be allowed to hold open the door bcs brownie points).

Point is, people will be wholly angry, vehemently indignant, about the stupidest things no matter what, as one said, so long as two people exist, someone is going to want someone else dead.
