100%. Theres a lot of studies on DEI that shows it does save money while making people at work happier, more satisfied and better work outcomes overall. They’re really a win win for all.

My employer has DEI but to prevent cuts from funding, they just changed the name and kept the policies. Its unfortunate but its better than having these policies and programs cut.

I don’t have live TV but went to my in-laws that did one day and they happen to have it on. The number of predatory insurance commercials was insane and people believe these plans are better.
Keep your straight Medicare A and B folks. Don’t sign up for Medicare Advantage (Managed Medicare with private insurance managing the benefits.

I unfortunately believe it may play some role too for some voters. There are Americans who still embrace their cultures, where there is an emphasis more on men being in charge. Think of some middle eastern cultures for example. And of course, there’s the sexists.
Sad reality also is there is a lot of racism still within our country…

Why would Elon care now? He got something better already… Control of the whole country

Very good point. I was fortunate enough to take a finance class in high school and be very vigilant, so theres some privledge there.
I think its been said like 1/3 people aren’t financially literate both in US and globally in general.

Its… Income based… As much as I hate loans of all the loan options its the easiest for many people because you only have to pay such a small fraction of your income to repay it 5-10% most common… And if you’re compliant, they forgive it anyways after 20 years.
I didn’t take that option but many of my friends did. Also, anyone taking out loans whether it be house, car, etc I believe should know what terms are and select what works best for their life.

Team of Losers.
Concur with you… And I live in CA where we do vote Democrat. While I would like to disagree, even Democrats I know veer away from politicians viewed as “too progressive”. They fear that true progressive agendas would alienate others within politics and result in nothing getting accomplished. For example, some love the idea of Bernie but believe hes too idealistic, “wishy washy” and that his plans are too. Too much for others within Congress to get on board and ally on the goals. If this is already coming from some Democrats in CA, I’m not surprised by swing states…
I 100% believe you. We may not like the reality but its there.

I’m really scared for future elections when the GOP has a candidate that is actually charismatic or articulate…

Its still insane how many active users they have compared to Mastodon. BTW its 500+ million to Mastodons 1 million. Pretty insane number comparison
Honestly, I think unfortunately gender/sex does play a factor, in addition to race. If this administration has taught us anything, is that there is that much hate within our country.
Also think of cultures where historically their culture doesnt value women. Even if there are people who immigrated here, some still may never vote for a woman. Some will decline because they are racist. While we are all Americans, we are deeply deeply divided ATM :(
This is without even factoring the candidates political platform in yet.
