My closest grocery store is more than two miles away (3.2km). I’m not walking that carrying several bags of groceries. I certainly don’t have time to go to the store more than once a week or so.

2·2 years agoConsidering this is a self-hosted specific community, I would say to host the app on your home server, and create your own private portal.
I installed umatrix recently, and having to enable cloudfare on each site is a pain.

I had looked into Kobo, but ultimately Boox won out. Zero proprietary ecosystem, so I can use Calibre to manage everything.
I need to do a bit more work, but totally worth it to be completely DRM free
