Vibes-based policy. Republicans hate when people from blue states move to red states, even if they are republicans. They think they bring the liberal stink with them and fuck things up for everyone else.

They’ll eat this up, regardless of how little sense it makes.

They know that there is no precedent for such violence against them specifically. But they are also extrapolating, correctly I think, that people will want to kill them for what they are planning to do, above even what they are currently doing.

Maybe they’ll encourage plunder like the good old days (the 1300s).
