Last I knew it was only a thing for sharing between accounts and outside of “Plex home”/managed users… I haven’t seen anything since the announcement months ago. Lot of whiners tho…

Depends on how you use it. Doubtful anyone here has the Plex devs on payroll… Not any other self-hostable softwares devs … updates will come.

It’s used on popular toys and consumer gadgets. Most well to do tech nerds don’t bother with such riff raff either.
