  • You are acting like this was a plan. It wasnt a plan. It was a natural consequence of what happens when everyone is corrupt. Youre basically saying “vote for A, because it will be worse with B”. And no one votes for that. NO ONE! You cant shame people who didnt vote into voting. But you know what you can do? You can stop voting for prick in the Dems who 100% are corrupt as fuck, just because they are dems.

The party will only listen, once YOU and all those like YOU stop voting them in to power. The likes of Nancy fucking Pelosi, who suckering you all over 38 years. Feinstein, over 32 years. Schumer, over 26 years. The list goes on and on. Corrupt people, who put party and donor interests before the people. And you all keep voting them in.

You want things to change? Thats how you do it. Let them know that no one is safe.

  • Yes, we are going in circles because you refuse to admit that you were wrong, and jumped to a conclusion so you call me names. These arent fascist talking points either.

The morons who attacked the capitol were rightly called out at the time. Sure, the right wingers tried to down play it as “just a bunch of people protesting” and that “the police let them in.”. But we all saw what it was, and the fact that some morons tried to spin it isnt anything new. During the riots that followed the murder of George Floyd, similar things happened only the roles were reverse. With “the left” ignoring or downplaying the bad things that happening. At least 19 people were killed during those riots. When it was a cop doing the killing, “the left” were all over it. When it was looters doing the killing, all of sudden we had to focus on how peaceful the protests were. And they were, Im not going to say they werent. The vast majority of protests were peaceful. But some werent, and in those cases “the left” did the exact same thing that “the right” did during the Jan 6th “protest”. They were slow to criticise it, and were quick to make excuses for it once they did. If 2020 showed us anything, its that people these days on both sides are only too happy to have violence, just as long as its to “their sides” benefit.

Let me be crystal clear, so there is no mistake. I do not like either party. I think they are both corrupt and focus on serving the party and their rich donors before the people. I can point to reasons why this is true of both. The media, not any better. It stopped being about truth a long time ago. Now its about clicks and engagement. If that means lying, so be it, they’ll do it. And if you do what the truth, or at least to know the biases of the news media thats telling the you “the truth”, you have to pay for it on a monthly basis.

What I want is for everyone, left and right, to start looking at the people that want their vote. Not the party they align with. Look at their actions, before the words that come in easily digestible sound bites. The Dems are no ones saviour and neither are the Republicans. But that doesnt mean that you cant find people with in those parties that are worth your vote. The most obvious example of that for the Dems being AOC. She clearly not the pocket of party leaders or donors, and shes never shied away from speaking her mind, even when its been against her political interests to do so.

On the right side of aisle you have people like Daniel Thatcher. Hes not going to be perfect, but he doesnt appear to be raging lunatic either. On the subject of Trans rights for example he was asked “What should the government do about it?” and his answer was “Nothing. We should leave you alone.”. His belief is clearly that of actual small government, that that government has no place in telling people how to live. He also doesnt appear to have come out strongly one way or the other on the other big talking points of immigration and abortion. But his being reasonable on the Trans rights issue shows, IMO, that hes someone that can get the party back to the business of not being utter cunts.

Another is Juan Ciscomani. On abortion he opposes the nation wide ban, but he does support limiting abortion to 15 weeks. Which is fine, IMO. And while he supports border security, hes shown that open to reform and protections, especially for children. I cant find anything about his views on issue of Trans Rights.

This idea that we all have to hate and wish death on each other because of a label, is insane. Being one thing, doesnt make you all the things that another who shares that label is. This extremism needs to end, because its radicalising people to the point that they feel comfortable saying that children should be murdered. Not just out loud, but online…
