I really do miss Tricare. Not worth being married though. I decided I’ll just die lol.

I think a lot of them simply don’t like women as humans. As in, to them women are an appliance. And when it won’t fuck them or clean up after them or has an opinion the appliance is broken.

Ya sometimes, especially when we are younger and maybe lonely and just want to be loved we certainly ignore red flags, or worse, think we can fix it.

This is not commentary specific to her, and I’m not defending her at all with this response, but I do want to note this:

A lot of people hide who they really are to lock in their partners with children, debt, etc. Things like abuse don’t start out on day 1. And we need to be careful with this sort of rhetoric.

Being borderline is the most painful condition. Maintaining your kindness at the same time…best of luck, friend.

Wish there was something positive I could say. Until recently I thought a good career, income, and staying put together would help me. But the only people interested are the one-night types and yeah…absolutely-fucking-lutely not.

I like to think many of us single people have a lot to offer, but we have standards. These humans are insufferable. Better to be alone than anywhere near them.

That’s very fair, and you’re right. A lack of respect for others pretty much covers all those things including thinking her preferences don’t matter or won’t once the truth comes out. It always struck me as a a weird behavior because it seems doomed to conflict/waste time.

Conservative men weirdly try to date liberal women often. Even hiding behind “apolitical” etc. Even if you identify your preference for liberal men, they still swipe etc.

Escaped a long time ago. I never bought religion. So I enjoyed those sentiments and socially sanctioned holier than thou shunning for decades. Thankfully up north now.

Not me. The rural part? Yes. But I can smell and feel the wet. In this type of place, you’ll be in a war of attrition against insects of all types. And mold and wood rot. Then there’s the wild animals or scary horror film neighbors.

Yes I think the bare minimum for many of us is becoming “no conservatives.”

So many of them don’t want to date conservative women. Like you can have a bio that explicitly says “no thanks conservatives” and they still try to slide in. Or hide it.

Why is it always the ones who look like Mr. Potato head?
