They can’t just quit. They’re under a signed contract, which can be penalized with jail time if breached. Refusing orders is also not as simple as it sounds. Each soldier has a duty to refuse an unlawful order. However, if you disobey a direct order, and it is later determined to have been a lawful one, you will now be punished for failing to obey orders, might be a slap on the wrist, might be a dishonorable discharge, or could even be a court martial with jail time.

At this point, I would be shocked if the far-right responded with anything but calls for violence.

Great to hear. Last I was there was close to a decade ago, and it looked very similar to my first viewing in the early 90s… there was a significant amount of mountain removed in that time, but visually, it was still very similar.

I mean, Trump has a point here. That portrait is barely recognizable as being him… way too normal looking, not enough orange blotches around the face, hair looks attached instead of combed over, and she definitely wasn’t able to capture that maniacal glint in his eyes.

Self-defense requires there to be an ongoing threat to your or someone else’s immediate safety. If he was able to leave the altercation, head to his truck to retrieve his rifle, and then return to the situation that’s not self-defense, its premeditation.

Even if his tariffs do bring in $1 trillion, that’s not even half the loss his tariffs have cause in just 3 days.
