  • It’s going to take everyone starving for people to care. I talk to my family and they say “what can we do, let the people who are supposed to fix this do their job”

Everywhere I look people are trying their best to look deeply into their tv shows, streams, video games, porn, etc and just waiting for this to impact them personally before they care enough to do something.

My husband has always said immigrants fleeing their country should stay behind and fight and now he’s looking at countries that would accept us.

I’m kinda at the point where nothing feels right. I don’t feel right. I’m on two antidepressants and I still feel trapped in this hell hole. I’ve always tried to vote and do the right thing and now I’m here.

I signed the strike card at the general strike website but it’s taking too long before they call the strike. I fear that website will get raided and all the sign ups will be lost. 😞

Honestly I’m really pissed we all didn’t start rioting when the Supreme Court ruled it’s okay to racially profile us. That should have been the breaking point for us all.

Our country is so broken. Actually, make that the planet.

    • Pedophiles being protected
    • People starving in Palestine
    • Cops getting away with violence and DUIs
    • Supreme Court ruling it’s okay to racially profile us.
    • Tax cuts for the rich
    • Unregulated capitalism
    • Failed Pentagon audits for 7 years
    • Food and Bills getting more expensive
    • shootings everyday
    • Data centers for Cloud and AI overloading the grids and clean energy generators are cut when need is high.

People are going hungry, uneducated, and unhealthy. But no one cares enough to really invest into the human race and unite. They’re all just selfish and greedy and hateful.

  • Wait, I looked it up and found this amendment introduced by MTG that AOC voted no on. It didn’t seem to have to do with the defensive weapons at all.

It was to defund the Israeli Cooperative Programs. https://www.congress.gov/amendment/119th-congress/house-amendment/55/all-info?s=a&r=3

I googled that program and found the below.

Israeli Cooperative Programs refer to various initiatives and collaborations that involve cooperative efforts between Israel and other countries, organizations, or communities. These programs can span multiple sectors, including agriculture, technology, education, and research. Here are some key aspects:

Agricultural Cooperatives: Israel is known for its advancements in agricultural technology and practices. Cooperative programs often focus on sharing these innovations with other countries, particularly in areas like water management, irrigation, and sustainable farming techniques.

Technology and Innovation: Israel has a robust tech ecosystem, often referred to as "Startup Nation." Cooperative programs may involve partnerships with foreign companies or governments to foster innovation, share technology, and develop new products or services.

Research and Development: Many Israeli universities and research institutions engage in cooperative programs with international partners to conduct joint research projects, share knowledge, and develop new technologies.

Cultural and Educational Exchanges: These programs may also include cultural exchanges, educational partnerships, and initiatives aimed at promoting understanding and collaboration between Israel and other nations.

Economic Cooperation: Israel engages in various economic cooperative agreements that facilitate trade, investment, and economic development with other countries.

Overall, Israeli Cooperative Programs aim to leverage Israel’s expertise and innovations to foster collaboration and mutual benefit across different sectors and regions.

  • I used to be dogshit about reading but I’m trying to finish the Fourth Wing series. I’m on the last book.

But I noticed I generally enjoy thriller genres. Like The Silent Patient which was a thriller murder mystery.

And another thriller I liked was about a very thin haunted house. God the name escapes me.

Yes any recommendations are welcome and appreciated.

  • It’s fucking depressing though. I voted for Harris, went to college, worked in IT and was a good little worker, got a decent credit score, barely got a starter home…

By all accounts I did everything right. But I’m still fucked. Going to be laid off this year and this IT industry is fucked. We all are. We can’t do anything because the wealthy always win. I’m depressed most days and only find joy in reading sometimes but other hobbies don’t feel the same.

Every time I’ve voted, my candidate of choice loses. I’m powerless. I’m not well.
