California has some of the most corrupt and inept leadership it has ever had. More money than ever is being spent on things like homelessness and public transit projects, but strangely both the public transit and homeless problem have only been getting worse.

I am generally not a conspiracy guy, but I have had my fair share of wall hung flags in my life and they don’t look like that for very long.

They just look weirdly staged or planted.

I honestly can’t say for certain. Google says the first one is from the Nobel Peace Center. Second one says inauguration, but I wasnt able to find anything else verifying that. The third one was in Chicago, but they also did it to our cities out here on the west coast as well.

I would imagine those were put up at the request of the governor or mayor of each state/city.

While I do think ranked choice voting would be better than our current system let’s not forget that it does have a pretty major downside. It can lead to someone nobody likes getting elected just due to how the system works. Veritasium (I think it was him?) made a video about different voting methods and all their downsides.

Basically math geniuses have been trying to find a solution to this problem since the dawn of time and so far all voting methods have inherent downsides.

Truthfully I don’t know if the Democrats have anyone that can win back the American people. Newsome is hated by half his own state and all the other states. Buttigieg maybe? Idk.

We really need another Obama or Bill Clinton. Someone charasmatic and well spoken. We just don’t have anyone young or charasmatic in that way that I can think of.

She’s hit and miss for me. When she’s calling people out on their bullshit regardless of party affiliation I am a fan. When she’s marching along with the ancient Democrats and being performative I can’t stand that shit.

I do not think she would do significantly better than Harris did. I think she would be an improvement, but idk if that’s gonna be enough.

It doesn’t matter what anyone does. I don’t actively remember snoozing it or sleeping through it. That shit is on autopilot. I have snoozed an alarm and sent a text to someone without waking up.

The 5 alarms is necessary. I have 3 on my phone and 2 on my Google home because I have slept through 2-3 alarms before. If I am asleep asleep you can pour water on me and I won’t wake up. Shattering glass. Vacuum. Blender. Lights. You name it.

My mom used to have to take my blankets and pillow away. Turn on my lights. Poor water on me and smack me around to get me outta bed at times.

I blame my father. When I was little I would fall asleep and take naps right next to his floor tom while he was practicing with his band. Full volume band practice and I would just pass out into my box of Legos right there next to him.
